False ID: Debra Cianflone, 31, of 349 Pershing Circle, Houston, was charged Tuesday by Canonsburg police with false identification to police and possession of paraphernalia after she allegedly gave the officer another name during an Oct. 28 traffic stop in the 100 block of East Pike Street. Police said she was wanted on several warrants issued by district judges. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
Girlfriend arrested: Krista Shea Ward, 27, of 533 Berthel Ave., Canton, was arrested Thursday by state police on charges of simple assault and harassment after she allegedly scratched her boyfriend during a confrontation at their home that morning. She was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and released on $10,000 unsecured bond.
Resisting charge: Crystal Valperga, 31, of 360 Moon Road, Canton, was charged last week by state police with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness stemming from a July 7 disturbance at 241 ½ Caldwell Ave., Canton. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
Men charged: Sean E. David, 27, of 22 Stout St., Union Township, is charged by township police with possessing one stamp bag of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy, and James Albert Anthony Jr., 28, of 3842 Kelly Hollow Road, Forward Township, faces charges of possessing drug paraphernalia and driving without a license stemming from a traffic stop on Route 88 near Country Club Road about 10 a.m. May 12, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges via summons Monday.
Drugs, weapons charges: Micah James Pierce, 43, of 9 First St., Houston, was arrested Monday by Cecil police on charges of persons not to possess a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, possession and possession with intent to deliver crack, receiving stolen property and driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop about 10:10 a.m. on Windsong Lane in Southpointe. Police found a 9mm pistol and bag of suspected crack in the console of the vehicle. Pierce also had two cellphones and $1,160. Police learned the gun had been stolen in Washington. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.
Woman wanted: Alysia Marie Prosser, 33, who has addresses in Charleroi and North Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with promoting prostitution, robbery and theft, court records show. Police accuse her of stealing a wallet containing $80 from Henry Lawson’s shirt pocket as he was getting into a motorized wheelchair at Sixth Street and Fallowfield Avenue Monday after she allegedly agreed to have sex with another man in the apartment building in exchange for $20. Prosser also is charged with possessing drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and public drunkenness over allegations she pulled away from an officer and became combative with paramedics who revived her from a drug overdose about 6:10 a.m. Tuesday on a front porch at 210 Second St. District Judge Larry Hopkins signed a warrant Tuesday for her arrest.
Ladder stolen: Anthony Fronzaglio Jr., 49, who has addresses in Donora and Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with receiving stolen property over allegations he sold a stolen extension ladder worth $200 to a pawn shop in exchange for $35 July 12, court records show. The ladder owner, Thomas Evans, notified police that day about 5 p.m. after he saw it in the shop in the 1000 block of McKean Avenue. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charge in a summons Monday.
Mower stolen: David Brown, 735 N. Main St., told Chartiers police Monday his Craftsman self-propelled lawn mower was stolen from outside his home.
Information stolen: Frank Jones of Chartiers told township police Sunday his personal information was used in an attempt to purchase gift cards from Home Depot. He said his information was also used on Verizon and AT&T accounts.
Cat, windows shot: Judy Bonczek, 396 Oak Spring Road, told Chartiers police Saturday her cat was shot three times with a pellet gun. The cat sustained minor injuries. She said windows in her detached garage were also shot.
Theft, receiving charges: Marin E. Oreski, 36, of Ambridge, will be arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Jay Weller on charges of theft, receiving stolen property and access device fraud after she allegedly stole a man’s wallet on North Avenue July 13 and withdrew money from his Red Cross account. Oreski is in Washington County jail on a bench warrant.
Threats charge: Thomas D. Hairston, 26, of 119 Wasler Way, Washington, was charged Friday by East Washington police after he allegedly threatened to shoot crews working on a utility line on Hemlock Lane in June 2016. Police initially charged another man, but at the hearing it was determined he was not the culprit. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Assault charge: Glenn M. Johnson Jr., 19, of 16 E. Pitt St., Canonsburg, was charged by North Strabane police with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment after he allegedly assaulted an emergency room doctor at Canonsburg Hospital while he was being treated July 1. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Patient assaulted: Richard Wayne Frazier, 49, of Wheeling, W.Va., was charged Thursday by North Strabane police with simple assault after he allegedly assaulted a patient at Southwood Hospital, 342 Linden Creek Road, on June 1. He allegedly knocked the man down and hit him. Court documents indicated Frazier did not follow the correct safe positioning on ground technique as required. Frazier reportedly denied hitting the patient but admitted he may have hit him with an elbow when he fell to the ground. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Heroin found: Tyler S. Romine, 26, of Clarksburg, W.Va., was charged last week by North Strabane police with possession of heroin after he was found June 24 with two stamp bags by personnel at Canonsburg Hospital. Police he had been dropped off at the emergency room.
Warrant signed: Blake Hallam, 33, of 20 Hurst Ave., Rostraver Township, is charged by township police with making terroristic threats over allegations he sent a relative text messages Sunday morning indicating he planned to kill her and others, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso signed a warrant Monday for Hallam’s arrest.
Charge filed: Jason Edward Williams, 37, of 215 N. Water St., West Newton, is charged by township police with theft over allegations he returned a stolen coffee maker to fraudulently obtain a $104 gift card from Walmart, 100 Sara Way, about 9 p.m. June 25, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the case in a summons Monday.
SOUTH STRABANE
Charged in crash: Amanda Berdosky, 38, of 34 Leet St., Washington, was charged last week by South Strabane police with leaving the scene of a crash, failure to stop, and not having insurance after she allegedly struck a parked car at Walmart, Trinity Point, June 9. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Charges filed: Joshua Greene, 32, of 659 Martin Road, Rostraver Township, and Andrew F. Brewer, 36, of 90 Kenric Ave., Donora, are each charged by Charleroi Regional police with tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Police accuse them of hiding an empty heroin stamp bag and syringes before an officer responded to an drug overdose in a vehicle parked on Maple Avenue about 2 p.m. Friday. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges in summons Monday.
Items stolen: Cecilia Wiley, 154 N. College St., told Washington police Monday two swim suits, a beach towel, sunscreen, beach bag and toys were stolen from her vehicle.
Ring stolen: Nicole Johnson, 485 Ewing St., told Washington police Monday a wedding ring valued at $2,300 was stolen from her home.
Teen missing: Austin Shaw, 16, of 111 Gibson Ave., was reported missing Monday to Washington police. He is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds with blue eyes and blond hair that is dyed blue. His left eyebrow is pierced. He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a Harley Quinn T-shirt. Police said he reportedly left with a 21-year-old woman and may be in the Canton Township area.
Phone, cards stolen: Merry McMurray, 420 McKinley Ave., told Washington police her purse containing an Apple iPhone, debit and credit cards and $40 were stolen from her home. A neighbor chased a man and a woman who dropped the purse but the items were gone.
False ID charge: Nico Harris, 33, of 240 S. College St., Washington, was charged with providing false identification to law enforcement after allegedly giving an incorrect spelling of his name to Washington police after an incident May 7. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Threat charge: Matthew Crawford, 25, of 344 Brick House Road, Claysville, was charged with making terroristic threats by Washington police. According to the complaint, Crawford made a gun gesture with his hand and pointed it at his mother-in-law, Joyce Christopher, during a custody exchange May 14 at McDonald’s, 999 Jefferson Ave. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Drug charges: James Greco, 29, of 180 Redd Run Road, Washington, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia by Washington police. According to the report, officers responded to reports of a possible overdose on May 7 in the 700 block of Addison Street. Police said they followed Greco into the 500 block of Fayette Street, where they initiated a traffic stop. He allegedly had crack and a pipe in his possession. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
