Liberty work postponed
Because of expected inclement weather, the planned Liberty Bridge work will not occur this weekend, and the bridge will remain open.
Closures will occur on Liberty Bridge from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday nights as crews conduct preparatory work for upcoming weekend latex overlay operations.
There will be an overnight closure on the inbound bridge and a single-lane restriction of the inbound Liberty Tunnel on Monday and Tuesday nights. There will be a full closure of the bridge in both directions and single lane-restriction of the inbound tunnel on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
No restrictions will occur in the outbound Liberty Tunnel. PJ McArdle Roadway will remain open each night.
All traffic will be detoured.
