Woman jailed: Jennifer McAnany, 27, of 4 Cara Drive, Washington, is charged by borough police with possessing drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended or revoked license stemming from a traffic stop about 4:40 p.m. July 19 in the 200 block of South Central Avenue, court records show. She was placed in Washington County jail on a probation violation and $10,000 bond set Tuesday by District Judge David Mark.

Warrant signed: Gertrude V. Roupe, 35, who is homeless, is wanted by state police on charges of trespassing, theft, harassment and driving without a license, court records show. Police accuse Roupe of crawling through a window at 197 Ellis Ave. about 8:10 p.m. Monday and arguing with her estranged husband, Frank Roupe Jr. She then allegedly left with the vehicle he was using and two tools valued at $300. She is wanted on a warrant signed Tuesday by District Judge Ethan Ward.

One-vehicle crash: Carla A. Naylor, 28, and Alexyah Naylor, 16, both of Pittsburgh, suffered injuries when Carla Naylor lost control of her vehicle on a wet Interstate 70 and struck guardrails about 12:35 p.m. Monday, state police said.

Man jailed: Jody L. Grable, 55, of 934 McKean Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with simple assault and harassment over accusations he spit on Alyssa Kemp and struck her twice in the face about 11:40 p.m. Monday, court records show. Grable was placed in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond set by District Judge Ethan Ward.

Assault alleged: James Snyder, 50, of 938 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he struck his girlfriend, Mary Ann Johnson, in the head with a toaster in his residence July 21, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges via summons Monday.

Theft alleged: Marquise Dempsey, 20, of 1022 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with theft and receiving stolen property over allegations he stole a donation jar containing more than $100 to help pay for a cancer victim’s medical bills from the Subway restaurant at 407 McKean Ave. about 5:15 p.m. July 17, court records show. Dempsey was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond after being arrested on a warrant Monday and arraigned before District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Assault alleged: Victor Marcell Jones, 56, of 2414 Sandy Plains Road, Clarksville, East Bethlehem Township, is charged by township police with simple assault, reckless endangerment, making terroristic threats, harassment, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse Jones of throwing Sarah Treece to the floor of the porch at his home and dragging her inside by her hair, pulling some of it out by the roots about 8:20 p.m. Monday. Jones also is accused of threatening to kill Treece if she called police for help. He was placed in Washington County jail on $100,000 bond set by District Judge Ethan Ward.
