Male sought in shooting death at Pittsburgh public housing complex
MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. (AP) — Police are seeking a male seen fleeing the scene of a shooting death at a public housing complex in Pennsylvania.
Officers and paramedics were called to the Uansa Village housing complex in McKees Rocks near Pittsburgh in western Pennsylvania at about 6:20 p.m. Saturday.
Arriving first responders found a young man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died of his wounds. His name hasn’t yet been released.
Lt. Andrew Schurman of Allegheny County police said the victim had encountered his assailant in the rear of a building at the complex where the shooting began. Witnesses reported a male fleeing the area immediately afterward.
Police are asking anyone who saw or heard anything to call county police or contact them on social media.
