Bethlehem-Center to graduate 97 Friday
Bethlehem-Center High School will graduate 97 seniors at 7 p.m. Friday in the high school stadium.
Londyn Marie Brown is the valedictorian, and Mailyn Bakewell is the salutatorian.
Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Brown of Richeyville, is the class treasurer and member of National Honor Society. She received the Centennial Chevrolet Scholar Athlete Award, the President’s Award for Educational Excellence, the U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete Award, the U.S. Marine Corps Scholastic Excellence Award, the U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award and the Natalie Cecchini Memorial Award.
Brown is a member of the Spanish Club, Leo Club and the Youth Traffic Safety Council. She has served as the captain of the varsity cheerleading, volleyball and softball teams. She plans to attend the Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy to pursue cosmetology.
Bakewell is a daughter of John and Heather Bakewell of Marianna. She is president of the National Honor Society and a majorette in the marching band. Bakewell plans to attend Waynesburg University to pursue a degree in nursing.
