Man charged with raping 11-year-old
A Greensboro man was charged with child rape for allegedly having sex with an 11-year-old girl on several occasions beginning last summer.
Matthew S. Perry, 38, of 197 Hartley Road, was charged Friday by state police with rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and corruption of minors.
Police said the 11-year-old girl told them the assaults occurred while she stayed overnight with a friend. The girl told police that on one occasion they had sex in Perry’s vehicle in a wooded area, the criminal complaint said.
The girl told police Perry would also tell her how to pose for “provocative” pictures he would take of her on his cellphone, the complaint said. Police said the sexual relationship began last summer and continued through March.
Police have issued a warrant for Perry’s arrest.
