Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Among those appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:

Karen L. Degrange, 50, 1128 Fourth St., Monongahela; possession of a controlled substance; charged Nov. 16; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Brianne Dean, 29, 3014 Sacramento Ave., No. 1, Pittsburgh; endangering the welfare of a child, driving while license is suspended or revoked and improper restraint systems; charged Sept. 5; sentence – 18 months of probation, $275 fine and 12-month driver’s license suspension.

Justin T. Fonner, 22, 344 Houston St., Washington; simple assault; charged June 25; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution, anger management classes and no contact with victim.

Kelley D. Galla, 38, 2886 Washington Boulevard, McKeesport; simple assault, retail theft and possession of a controlled substance; charged Nov. 2; sentence – 23 months in the intermediate punishment program, five days in jail, one month on electronic home monitoring, three years of probation, restitution, no contact with Lowe’s and victim and anger management classes.

John W. Doswell, 68, 7943 Madeira St., Pittsburgh; arson and insurance fraud; charged June 21, 2015; sentence – 36 months in the intermediate punishment program and on electronic home monitoring.

Joshua M. David, 32, 113 Gibson Ave., Washington; theft; charged Aug. 6, 2014; sentence – three years of probation, restitution and no contact with ROC Services.

Shawn Bowman, 45, 430 Liberty Ave., Donora; theft; charged Sept. 16; sentence – two years of probation and no contact with McKnight Medical.

Chad J. Bowman, 30, 216 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown; retail theft; charged April 11, 2016; sentence – two years of probation and no contact with Walmart.

Appearing before Judge John F. DiSalle:

Edward C. Diulus, 51, 1501 Asbury Place, Apt. 5, Pittsburgh; theft; charged Nov. 9; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution and no contact with victim.

Zoe K. Tuff, 45, 194 E. Katherine Ave., Washington; driving under the influence and driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked; charged May 27, 2016; sentence – $700 fine, six months in the intermediate punishment program, 10 days on electronic home monitoring, complete alcohol highway safety school, 24-month driver’s license suspension and 24 months of iginition interlock device.

Leo T. Owens, 32, 549 Mitchell Ave., Clairton; driving under the influence and driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked; charged Sept. 12, 2015; sentence – 30 days in jail, six months of probation and $1,300 fine.

Kathryn N. Smith, 33, 2301 Firethorn Road, Bridgeville; driving under the influence and driving while operating privilieges are suspended or revoked; charged Dec. 2, 2015; sentence – 30 days to 24 months in jail, $1,500 fine, 24-month driver’s license suspension and 12 months of ignition interlock device.

Jonathon C. Eckstein, 49, 308 Roupe Road, Eighty Four; driving under the influence and driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked; charged June 24; sentence – five years in the intermediate punishment program, 23 months in a veterans court program, one year on electronic home monitoring, three months and 90 days on ScramX, $3,500 fine, 30-month driver’s license suspension, 12 months of iginition interlock device and 100 hours of community service.

Raymond W. Gilpin Sr., 51, 25 Ramsey Road, Washington; driving under the influence; charged Sept. 3; sentence – six months in the intermediate punishment program, 10 days on electronic home monitoring, $300 fine, 12-month driver’s license suspension and 12 months of iginition interlock device.

Melissa A. Sethman, 36, 103 Lookout Ave., Charleroi; driving under the influence; charged Sept. 13; sentence – five years in the intermediate punishment program, six months on electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension and 12 months of ignition intlerlock device.

Daniel W. Rettinger, 23, 203 S. Fifth St., West Newton; driving under the influence; charged June 24; sentence – six months in the intermediate punishment program, 60 days on electronic home monitoring, $750 fine, 12-month driver’s license suspension and 12 months of ignition interlock device.

David L. Davis, 45, 1120 Federal St., Toronto, Ohio; driving under the influence and driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked; charged Aug. 27; sentence – six months in the intermediate punishment program, 10 days on electronic home monitoring, $500 fine, 24-month driver’s license suspension and 12 months of iginition interlock device.

Chad L. Carter, 30, 1507 Laurel Ridge Drive, Glenwillard; possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension; charged Sept. 9 ; sentence – six months of probation without verdict, 25 hours of community service, $500 fine and four months on electronic home monitoring.

James R. Bunch, 31, 422 Shady Ave., Charleroi; disorderly conduct; charged Jan. 17; sentence – $300 fine.

Troy L. Riggle, 44, 6 Pikeview Drive, Richeyville; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Sept. 21; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Noah P. Protzman, 58, 584 Easton Mill Road, Morgantown, W.Va.; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Jan. 11; sentence – six months of probation without verdict.
