A state Superior Court affirmed the decision of a Washington County judge who a year ago dismissed former state Rep. Jesse White’s lawsuit against KDKA Radio.

A three-judge panel of the appellate court handed down the decision in an order filed Tuesday. White, a Cecil attorney whose license was indefinitely suspended in April over the alleged misappropriation of funds entrusted to him by clients, accused KDKA talk show host Marty Griffin and Donald Roessler of Canonsburg, who had allegedly posted segments of Griffin’s show on YouTube channel, of defaming him in comments during the run-up to the 2014 election, when White lost a bid to keep his seat in the 46th Legislative District. Griffin and Roessler, along with the station, were named as defendants when White filed suit in county court in 2015.

DiSalle found White’s claims as legally insufficient when he dismissed the case in June 2016.
