Pike Run bridge project delayed
Construction on the Pike Run Road (Route 2036) bridge, which spans Pike Run in West Pike Run Township, has been postponed, the state Department of Transportation announced.
The project previously was scheduled to begin during the week of June 26. Construction is now expected to begin during the week of July 3 and be complete in mid-September. During this time, drivers will be directed to follow a detour along Route 481, Route 40 (National Pike) and Daisytown Road (Route 2081).
