Liberty Tunnel closures planned
The Liberty Tunnel in Pittsburgh will be closed in one direction overnight starting Sunday for inspection work.
The closures will take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The outbound side will be closed from Sunday to Thursday nights next week and again from March 26 through 30. The inbound side also will close on Sunday through Thursday nights on March 12 through 16 and Sunday through Wednesday nights on March 19 through 22.
Outbound closures will not occur until two hours after the end of any major event at the PPG Paints Arena. Detours will be posted.
