Paraphernalia arrest: Mark David Gaydos Jr., 23, of 202 Rissie Ave., Bentleyville, was arrested Wednesday after Bentleyville police said he was found with empty heroin stamp bags and a needle when an officer did a welfare check at his home. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Man faces charges: Robert Glass, 29, of 313 Dawson St., Canonsburg, will be charged by borough police with terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment and public drunkenness after he allegedly threatened his girlfriend with a knife during a confrontation at their home late Wednesday. Police said he left before officers arrived and was found stumbling along a nearby street carrying a can of beer. Glass was placed in Washington County jail on a domestic relations warrant.

Restaurant cited: The owner of Sam’s Place, 1375 Henderson Ave., Chartiers, was cited Wednesday by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly serving a 20-year-old person an alcoholic beverage Jan. 21.

Woman arraigned: Stacy Nicole Bell, 41, of Steubenville, Ohio, was arraigned Friday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief. She is accused of stealing collectible coins and silver dollars valued at $457.90 from a home on Cross Creek Road in Cross Creek in November 2012. She was released from Washington County jail after posting $5,000 bond.

Tavern cited: The owner of Breezy Heights Tavern, 714 Washington Pike, Independence, was cited Wednesday by the state police Bureau of Liquor Enforcement for allegedly serving a 20-year-old person an alcoholic beverage Jan. 21.

Drug arrest: Kevin Lashan Crews, 26, of 421 Forest St., Monessen, is charged by city police with drug possession with intent to deliver, endangering the welfare of children, tampering with evidence, marijuana possession, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. Police said a search of his home about 5 p.m. Tuesday produced a jar containing 28 grams of marijuana, 30 grams of the drug hidden in a heating duct and $1,000 in a shoebox. Crews is free on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Fight leads to charges: Jevante Lamont Carlock, 20, of 441 Clarendon Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with illegal possession of 2 ½ doses of Xanax, resisting arrest, public drunkenness, underage drinking and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police said officers apprehended Carlock during a foot chase after they were summoned to a crowd fighting at Spruce Street and Leeds Avenue about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday. Carlock is free on $5,000 unsecured bond set by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Woman arraigned: Kellie Marie Rush, 19, of 8 Huston St., Monessen, is charged by city police with simple assault, harassment, possession of an instrument of a crime, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse Rush of driving her car in the direction of La Shae Corbett while Corbett was pushing a stroller containing her son in the 100 block of Park Manor Road about 3 p.m. Feb. 24. Rush is free on unsecured bond set Wednesday by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Fugitive caught: Theodore L. Martin Jr., 43, of Dover, York County, was arrested Wednesday as a fugitive from justice by state police at The Meadows Casino. Martin is wanted on 51 counts of theft in Delaware County, Ohio. The casino was asked by law enforcement in Ohio to put an alert on Martin’s player’s club card. He was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County jail without bond, pending extradition to Ohio.

Pair charged: John Paul Gillie, 69, of 208 Cypress St., Collinsburg, is charged with patronizing a prostitute, and Leslie Ann Steban, 39, of 315 Riverside Drive, Van Meter, is charged with promoting prostitution at Gillie’s residence about 12:15 p.m. Feb. 7, court records show. Steban also is charged with theft and receiving stolen property over allegations she stole a television and other items valued at $1,600 from Gillie’s residence that day. District Judge Charles Christner issued the charges by summons Wednesday.

Burglary arrest: Ryan Justice, 30, of Oakdale, was arrested Wednesday by Smith police on charges of burglary, theft and criminal trespass for allegedly burglarizing a home at 818 John St., Langeloth, the previous day. He is accused of stealing four long guns, a pistol, television, X-box player and laptop computer from the home. Police said the television was recovered at an Allegheny County pawn shop. Justice was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond. Police said an additional arrest is pending.

Drug charges: Leroy VanCamp Jr., 19, of 2 Townsite Road, Langeloth, was charged last week by Smith police with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia after he allegedly was found with suspected drugs during a Jan. 18 compliance check by adult probation. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.

Man assaulted: Robert Garcia, 32, of Washington, told Washington police early Thursday he was assaulted by another man at the intersection of Hall Avenue and Church Street. He said his attacker shoved him against a wall, but Garcia was able to hit the other man’s arm and get away.

Vehicle scratched: Marissa Mikel of North Strabane Township told Washington police Wednesday her vehicle was scratched by vandals while it was parked in the 300 block of Duncan Avenue.

Fake IRS call: Steve Phillips of Washington told Washington police Wednesday he got a call from a person claiming to be a city police officer who had a warrant for his arrest from the Internal Revenue Service. Phillips was directed to purchase $1,800 in iTunes cards and call in the numbers of the cards to activate them in order to take care of the warrant.

Assault arrest: James D. Starr, 41, of 278 McDonald Road, West Alexander, was arrested Wednesday by state police on charges of simple assault and harassment after he allegedly assaulted a man at his West Finley home by clawing him in the face. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.
