Unlocked vehicles entered in Chartiers
Chartiers Township police are again reminding vehicle owners to lock their car doors after 26 unlocked vehicles were entered late Wednesday and early Thursday.
Police said the vehicles were parked at homes on Welsh and Southhall roads and Glenwood Drive. The thief rummaged through vehicles, taking loose change, personal papers and in one case stole a handgun.
Valuables or weapons should not be left inside vehicles, police said.
Anyone who might have seen suspicious activity is asked to call police at 724-745-8030, extension 215.
