Lock cut: Donald E. Wall Jr. of Freedom, Ind., told state police Monday a padlock was cut off a trailer parked at 25 Smita Lane, Bentleyville. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-929-6262.
Theft reported: State police said various items were stolen from a car parked on East Buffalo Church Road between 9 p.m. Feb. 18 and 2:15 p.m. Feb. 19.
Theft alleged: Michael Amati, 24, of 449 Isabella Ave., North Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with theft and receiving stolen property over allegations he stole a DVD player and $50 from Marjorie Signorini in the 1200 block of McKean Avenue between 7 and 10 a.m. Feb. 27, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins signed a warrant Tuesday for Amati’s arrest.
PFA case: State police troopers responding to a reported disturbance at 71 E. Willow St. said they found Carissa Vuono in violation of a protection-from-abuse order Feb. 26.
Theft reported: Heather Juran told state police a package of wedding invitations was stolen from her porch at 23 Highland Road between 11:46 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Assault alleged: A man told state police he was conversing with a man who then pointed a gun at him about 9 p.m. Feb. 24 on Cedar Grove Road. The victim said he left with no further incident.
Theft from vehicle: John Nathan Peters of Monongahela told state police Monday a black bag containing a loaded Smith & Wesson revolver, a box of ammunition, his Pennsylvania state police badge and $20 in quarters was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in the driveway of his home.
Threats alleged: Robert William Volk, 19, of 302 Market St., Belle Vernon, is charged by borough police with making terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse him of threatening a 16-year-old boy with a knife and also striking him in the eye in the 500 block of Broad Avenue about 4:45 p.m. Jan. 31. District Judge Charles Christner issued the charges in a summons Thursday.
Warrant arrest: John W. Waller III, 33, whose last known address was East National Pike, Scenery Hill, was arraigned Thursday by District Judge Gary Havelka on charges of robbery, theft, simple assault, criminal mischief and harassment. He is accused of luring a man to his home last December, assaulting him and stealing the alleged victim’s boots and cellphone. Waller also is accused of damaging the windshield and hood of the victim’s vehicle. Waller was released on $20,000 unsecured bond.
Cards stolen: Gina Ditullio of Pleasant Hills Drive told South Strabane police $300 in gift cards and her credit cards were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked outside her home Thursday.
Theft alleged: Marshall Tucker Lambert, 24, of 15 Coal St., Dunlevy, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with unauthorized use of an access device card and theft over allegations he withdrew $90 from Christina Roberts’ account without her permission at a CFS Bank at 141 Pennsylvania Ave. about 12:45 p.m. Jan. 28, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges in a summons Wednesday.
