Charged in crash: Stephen Andrew King, 28, of 125 Millsboro Road, Rices Landing, was charged by state police with fleeing the scene of a crash and four summary traffic violations following an accident about 8 a.m. Feb. 21 on Jefferson Road in Morgan Township. Police said King was traveling west when he crossed the center line on a curve in the road and sideswiped an eastbound driver. King allegedly did not stop and later told police “he was late to work and thought that there was only minor damage to his vehicle,” police wrote in the criminal complaint. Police said a woman who was driving behind King saw the crash, followed King and reported his license plate number.
