Drug possession charge: David P. Garber, 32, of 221 Mt. Morris Road, Mt. Morris, was charged by Southwest Regional Police Department with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing administration of law and two counts of possession of a controlled substance following an incident in June. A police officer allegedly found Garber slumped over the steering wheel of his truck in a field off Blacks Run Road in Perry Township just after noon June 30. The officer said in the criminal complaint that Garber gave him a false identity and showed signs of being under the influence of drugs. Police said they found six hypodermic needles, a spoon, methamphetamine and buprenorphine in the vehicle.

Records violation alleged: Greene County Veterans Club, 445 E. Lincoln St., was cited by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for failure to maintain complete and truthful records for a two-year period, concerning the local-option small games of chance act. The charges will be brought before an administrative law judge.
