Moving violation: No one was injured in a one-vehicle rollover early Friday on Pleasant Valley Road near Green Valley Road. Driver John R. Zawacki, 30, of Claysville, was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic. State police said a tire rod on his pickup truck broke and Zawacki lost control of the vehicle, which flipped over and struck a tree.

One-vehicle crash: According to state police, driver Seth Medlen, 20, of Brownsville, and passenger Donna J. Carnahan, 19, of Eighty Four, were transported by ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Saturday morning after Medlen lost control of his vehicle on Route 917 near Washington Street. Police said the vehicle struck a guardrail, flipped over, then struck the other guardrail. A hospital staff member said Sunday Medlen and Carnahan were in stable condition.

Attempted break-in: State police said two unknown people attempted to break into the home of a 24-year-old man in the 100 block of Eldersville Road early Sunday.
