On Point, a group of teachers, parents and concerned citizens, will host “Stand Up,” an outreach for youths, at several Washington County Schools March 27-31.

This year’s focus will be on drugs – especially heroin – bullying and depression.

Youth speaker Randy DonGiovanni, a 1977 graduate of Trinity High School, aims to empower students to overcome negative influences and challenge them to reach their full potential.

Students from all schools are invited to attend the programs, taking place at 6 p.m. March 31 at Canon-McMillan High School and 6 p.m. April 1 at Washington High School.

Free food and drinks will be available and several prizes, including a flat-screen TV, will be raffled.
