Taken into custody: Jason Lee Wagner, 32, of 72 Dinsmore Ave., Burgettstown, was taken into custody Sunday by McDonald police after they were called to a domestic dispute at his home Sunday. He was placed in Washington County jail on a detainer.

Warrant arrest: Travis W. Hickly, 27, of School Place, Finleyville, was taken into custody early Saturday by Canonsburg police after he reportedly entered several vehicles in the borough. When he was taken into custody, he had some stolen items, as well as an aspirin bottle that contained drugs that were not prescribed to him, police said. He will be charged with theft from a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance. Hickly was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson on a Beaver County bench warrant charging him with possessions of drug paraphernalia stemming from a Jan. 16 traffic stop by state police in Aliquippa. He was placed in Washington County jail on $7,500 bond.

Son arrested: Gregory McHenry, 24, of 71 Tarr Heights, was arrested Saturday by Cecil police on charges of simple assault and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. He is accused of assaulting his father by throwing a table at him. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Assault arrest: Eric W. Boyer, 28, of 498 Regent St., was arrested Sunday by Chartiers police on charges of simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief after a domestic at his home. He is accused of assaulting a 24-year-old woman then breaking an officer’s glasses as he struggled with police when they were taking him into custody. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

One injured: Ruth Gubanic, 88, of Etna, was injured when the bus in which she was riding struck a car on Racetrack Road at Tanger Boulevard, Friday morning, North Strabane police said. The driver of the bus, which had 21 passengers, was identified as Scott Urso, 54, of Pittsburgh. The driver of the car was identified as Regina Cogar, 52, of Ripley, Maine. Gubanic was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.

Assault alleged: Bruce Buck, 58, of 465 Finley Road, Rostraver Township, is charged by township police with indecent assault, simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police accuse Buck of pushing a woman against her vehicle and grabbing and biting her chest about 1:30 a.m. March 5 outside of Sweeney’s Steakhouse, 1713 Rostraver Road. District Judge Charles Christner issued the charges in a summons Friday.

Pair charged: Brandon Tyler Morris, 20, of 123 Meadow Lane, Rostraver Township, is charged by township police with false reports, reckless endangerment, accident involving damage to an attended vehicle and failure to stop and give information and render aid, court records show. Police accuse Morris of ramming his vehicle into the bumper of another vehicle driven by Jeffery Hickman and then fleeing the accident scene at Finley and Spring roads about 3:45 p.m. Nov. 28. Police said Morris had an infant in his vehicle at the time. A passenger in his car, Paige Lee Liston, 18, of 121 Newtown Road, Connellsville, is charged with false reports over allegations she provided an officer with inaccurate information about the crash. District Judge Charles Christner issued the charges in summons Friday.

Drug charge: James Fred Harvey, 62, of 17 Grand Ave., Rostraver Township, is charged by township police with possessing four stamp bags of heroin and driving under the influence of controlled substances when he allegedly suffered an overdose in his vehicle at Rankin’s Crossroads about 8 p.m. March 4, court records show. District Judge Charles Christner issued the charges in a summons Friday.

Window broken: James Donahue Sr., 1135 Maple Terrace, told Washington police Sunday the rear window of his car was broken by vandals.

Wallet stolen: Richard Brown of Washington told Washington police Saturday his wallet was stolen and one of the cards was used to make $305 withdrawal at Shop ‘n Save, 125 West Beau St.

Tires slashed: Christopher Creek, 609 W. Chestnut St., told Washington police Saturday a tire on his vehicle and a tire on his wife’s vehicle were slashed by vandals.
