A small saw mill near Mt. Morris was destroyed by fire Monday morning.

Bobtown and Mt. Morris fire crews were called to the scene about 8:40 a.m. to the mill that was used by the residents of 258 Bealls Run Road, Bobtown fire Chief Randy Pritchard said. He said no one was injured in the fire.

“It hasn’t been used in a while, and when it was, it was for personal use,” Pritchard said.

He said they don’t yet know what caused the fire, but the state fire marshal is investigating.

He said there was equipment in a storage area of the structure, including a tractor, which also was destroyed.
