Assault arrest: Yordy Sandoval, 20, of 800 Washington Ave., Charleroi, was arrested Tuesday night by Charleroi Regional police on charges of simple assault, resisting arrest and harassment after hitting his girlfriend several times during a confrontation at their apartment. Earlier that night, police cited him with harassment for allegedly threatening a neighbor. Sandoval was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond.

PFA violation: Angelo Scalfani, 49, of 2252 Route 88, Dunlevy, was arrested Tuesday by Charleroi Regional police after he allegedly violated a protection from abuse order signed by Judge Damon Faldowski. He reportedly went to the Fallowfield Avenue home of the woman who obtained the PFA, and started banging on the door. She reportedly told him to leave. Scalfani then returned to the home and she called police. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released from Washington County Jail after posting $5,000 bond.

Theft, paraphernalia charge: Robert Campbell, 38, of 444 Highland Ave., North Charleroi was taken into custody Tuesday by Charleroi Regional police on an adult probation detainer after he allegedly stole items from the Dollar General. He was placed in Washington County Jail on the detainer. District Judge Larry Hopkins arraigned Campbell Tuesday on charges of retail theft and possession of paraphernalia and set bond in the case at $25,000.

Charges filed: Glen Edward Miller, 39, of 39 Cumberland Village, Cumberland Township, Greene County, is charged by city police with having altered inspection and registration decals and a fraudulent license plate, and driving with a suspended license and other vehicle-related offenses stemming from a traffic stop about 8 p.m. March 23 at Donner Avenue and 12th Street, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the case in a summons Tuesday.

Student charged: Deja Marie Harkcom-Patterson, 18, of 1220 Maple Ave., Monessen, is charged by Monessen school police with simple assault and disorderly conduct stemming from a fight at Monessen High School March 20, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the case in a summons Tuesday.

Warrant signed: Kelly Kover, 26, of 1176 Bruce St., Washington, is charged by city police with unauthorized use over accusations she borrowed a vehicle from her boyfriend, Leonard Anderson of Monessen, about 2:45 p.m. March 13 and never returned it as promised, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso signed a warrant for Kover’s arrest Monday.

Woman charged: Diana Lynn McPartland, 39, of 409 Thompson Ave., Donora, is charged by township police with felony retail theft over allegations she stole merchandise worth $159 from a Walmart, 100 Sara Way, about 7 p.m. March 24, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the case in a summons Tuesday.

Prescription stolen: Sandra Sheppard of Washington told Washington police Tuesday that her prescription for 120 pills was picked up without her permission from Rite Aid, 1001 Jefferson Ave. Police said charges are pending.

Dumpster damaged: An employee of the Wine & Spirits store, 980 Jefferson Ave., told Washington police Tuesday that a Dumpster outside the business had been damaged.
