Cecil supervisors approve Muse-Bishop Road agreement
CECIL – Cecil Township supervisors on Monday approved a one-year agreement with state transportation officials in which township workers will assume responsibility for winter maintenance of Muse-Bishop Road.
The state will pay the township $6,800 under the agreement. The township will be responsible for clearing the roughly three-mile state road.
Supervisors approved the agreement in a 3-2 vote, with supervisors Eric Sivavec, Cindy Fisher and Frank Egizio voting in favor of the measure. Supervisor Elizabeth Cowden and Chairman Tom Casciola opposed the proposal.
