Home shot: A resident of Amwell Township told state police that a shot was fired Monday at his home, which sits near Interstate 79 north, damaging the siding.

Driver faces charge: Alan M. Coffield, 26, of Washington, faces a charge of driving under the influence after a crash March 24 in the 2000 block of Pleasant Grove Road, state police said. He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian hospital for treatment.

Assault alleged: Richard Lee Jones, 63, of 460 Second Ave., New Eagle, is charged by Monongahela police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he pushed Linda Jones and put his arm around her neck about 2 p.m. April 27, court records show. District Judge James Ellis issued the case in a summons Tuesday.

Driver faces charge: Drue M. Hanna, 25, of Canonsburg faces a charge of driving under the influence after a one-vehicle crash April 7 on Interstate 79 north, state police said.

Drug case: Clark Campbell, 33, of 347 East Pike St., Houston, is charged by Monongahela police with two counts of drug possession over allegations he illegally possessed one Suboxone strip, five Oxymorphone pills and one dose of Oxycodone when an officer approached him about 9:30 p.m. April 4 in the 6200 block of Route 88, court records show. District Judge James Ellis issued the charges in a summons Tuesday.

Man jailed: Tynan Andrew Noakes, 23, of 329 Shelton Ave., Brownsville, is charged by borough police with theft over allegations he stole items worth $98 and returned them for a gift card at Walmart, 134 Daniel Kendall Drive, about 11:45 a.m. Jan. 20, court records show. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $5,000 bond set Wednesday by District Judge Robert Redlinger.
