MOUNT OLIVER, Pa. (AP) — Allegheny County police are trying to find a man who went knocking on doors in a Pittsburgh suburb and shot two young males in the process.

Police say the suspect may be a black man seen getting into a white car — possibly with Ohio plates — that drove away from Mount Oliver after the shots were reported about 11 p.m. Monday.

Police arrived to find a 15-year-old boy critically wounded and a 22-year-old man who was in stable condition with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Police say neighbors called 911 after they heard the suspect knocking on doors in the 500 block of Giffin Avenue, prompting the police response.

Investigators were hoping witnesses might provide more information on Tuesday.
