City mother, children reported missing
A 29-year-old Washington mother and her three children were reported missing Monday night to Washington police.
The mother of Brittney Anderson reported her missing, along with Anderson’s 7-year-old daughter, Jazel King, 6-year-old son, Angelo King, and 2-year-old son, Lattrell Coleman.
Dawn Wells told police the children have not been in school since Thursday, and her daughter did not go to work at Kohl’s either Saturday or Sunday for her scheduled shifts.
Anderson’s cellphone goes straight to voicemail, and she deactivated her Facebook account. She last had contact with an aunt Saturday via text message.
City police were able to enter Anderson’s McCarrell Avenue home but found nothing suspicious. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-223-4226.
