Retail theft: Paige Elaina McClure, 21, of New Freeport, was charged by state police with retail theft for allegedly trying to steal $1,558 worth of merchandise from Walmart on Murtha Drive in Franklin Township April 16. Police said the merchandise was recovered.

Theft: State police said an unknown person stole an Xbox from a man’s vehicle, which was parked in the 200 block of Front Street May 1 or 2.

Theft: State police said an unknown person stole a log splitter from a residence in the 300 block of Ridge Road May 13 or 14.
