Cecil No. 1 firefighters set up account for fire victims
Cecil No. 1 Fire Department (Lawrence) has set up a GoFundMe account to assist a Hendersonville family who lost everything in a fire last week.
The fire department has set a goal of $10,000 to assist Eric Cox and Sandra Swartzelder and their three children after a May 22 fire destroyed their home at 414 Blue Jay Drive, Cecil Township. Cox and Swartzelder along with two of the children and a pet escaped the flames. The third child was still at school.
Cox is recovering from a recent heart attack and is not working. They also did not have homeowners insurance.
