CALIFORNIA
Theft warrant: Theresa Rowan-Dennis, 49, of California, is wanted on a warrant obtained Monday by California police charging her with theft, identity theft and receiving stolen property in connection with an Oct. 11 incident. She is accused of using a credit card that belonged to someone else to make $527 in purchases at various businesses. The charges were filed at the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
Theft, receiving charges: James J. Zober, 56, of California, is wanted on a warrant obtained Monday by California police charging him with theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing an aluminum boat valued at $500 from 693 Liberty St. on Thursday. He then allegedly sold it for $27 at a Brownsville scrapyard. The charges were filed at the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
Disorderly house: Kaylan Ann Jackson, 20, of Brownsville, was charged by California police with violating the borough’s disorderly house ordinance after she allegedly hosted a large, noisy party with 60 or more people early Sunday at 72 Second St.
CENTERVILLE
Assault alleged: Devin Donald Brown, 24, of Peyton, Ohio, is charged by borough police with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct over allegations he struck Audrey Quinones in the right eye at 3 Short St. about 10:20 p.m. Sunday, court records show. Brown was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
CHARLEROI
Man jailed: Paul Thompson, 50, of 814 Eighth St., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with simple assault over allegations he struck Deborah Montgomery in the face in his residence about 2:10 a.m. Tuesday, court records show. Thompson was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
CHARTIERS
Bridge hit: Rebecca Shuman, 21, of 110 King Air Circle, South Franklin Township, escaped injury when her pickup truck went off Plum Run Road near Brigich Road Friday and hit a guardrail and a bridge abutment before going into a creek. She told Chartiers police she was not familiar with the area.
DONORA
Warrant signed: Roxanna Defelice, 22, of Glassport, is charged by borough police with theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property over allegations she stole a car from Denise McCullough at Highland Terrace about 11:20 p.m. Oct. 24, court records show. The vehicle later was discovered in East Pittsburgh. District Judge Larry Hopkins signed a warrant Monday for her arrest.
NORTH STRABANE
Three injured: Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash about 6:25 p.m. Monday on Thomas-Eighty Four Road at Waterdam Road. North Strabane police said Erin Hettman, 35, of Monongalia County, W.Va., was driving a pickup truck and allegedly failed to stop for a stop sign, striking a vehicle driven by Karissa Hrynda, 18, of Munntown Road, Eighty Four. Hrynda, a passenger, Bretta Hrynda, 47, also of Munntown Road, and Hettman were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Hettman will be cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
ROSCOE
Assault alleged: Nathaniel E. Marshman Sr., 25, of 411 Underwood St., Roscoe, is charged by state police with aggravated assault, simple assault, possession of a small amount of marijuana, harassment and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse him of striking his stepfather, Carl Walden, in the head, arms and leg with a metal baseball bat and also head-butting him in the face Monday at his residence. Marshman is free on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
SOMERSET
Hit-and-run: Randy Earley, 34, of Monongahela, was driving north on Brownlee Road about 7 p.m. Monday when his vehicle was struck by a car that pulled out to turn from Somerset Drive, state police said. The car, a Ford Contour, then fled. Earley was not injured.
SOUTH STRABANE
One injured: Randy Jones, 28, of White Way, Canonsburg, was injured when his vehicle and a vehicle driven by Angela Anderson, 28, of Oak Spring Road, Marianna, collided Monday morning at Washington Road (Route 19) and Trinity Drive, South Strabane police said. Police said Jones reportedly was traveling on Route 19 when he went through a red light, hitting Anderson’s vehicle as she was making a left turn from Trinity Drive. Jones was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.
WASHINGTON
Woman jailed: Amberly L. Pettit, 37, of 725 Fayette St., Washington, is charged by city police with possession with intent to deliver crack, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop about 11 p.m. April 12 in the 500 block of Chestnut Street, court records show. She was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond after being arrested on a warrant Tuesday and arraigned before District Judge Larry Hopkins.
Decoration damaged: David Lank of 358 Locust Ave. told Washington police Sunday that a Halloween decoration in his yard was damaged during an apparent theft attempt. He told police the head and back of a dragon skeleton were broken.
Watch stolen: Leanne Mack of 99 Gibson Ave. told Washington police Saturday a Citizen Echo solar watch valued at $800 was stolen from a windowsill at her home.
Broken window: Tracy Huffman of 749 Ewing St. told Washington police Friday a window at her home was broken. The residence is owned by Zack Martin of Washington.
Card used: Kent Jungo of Sycamore Street told Washington police Monday that his credit card was used to make $430.21 in purchases at Walmart in South Strabane Township, Giant Eagle in Peters Township and at a Sunoco gas station.
