BUFFALO

Charged with DUI: Tracy Dawn Irwin, 42, of 787 Regent Drive, Washington, was charged Tuesday by state police with driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance, careless driving and trespass by motor vehicle. Police say her vehicle was found stuck in a muddy field June 2, about 50 yards from a house on North Sunset Beach Road in Buffalo Township. Police said her blood-alcohol content was more than 2 1/2 times the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed. She also allegedly had marijuana in her system. Charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

Drug charges: Garrett Devon Ware, 21, of 423 W. College St., Canonsburg, was charged Wednesday by state police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after he allegedly was found with the items while a passenger in a vehicle that crashed Aug. 23 on Route 40 at McKee Road, Buffalo. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

CALIFORNIA

Charged in crash: Ryan Thomas Bachurski, 24, of Brownsville, was charged by California police with leaving the scene of a crash, careless driving and failure to drive at a safe speed after he allegedly crashed into a fence at 84 Lumber, Poplar Street, on Oct. 12 and fled. The charges were sent by summons Tuesday from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

Disorderly house charges: Amair Newring, 19, of McKees Rocks, and Jewell Shelby, 18, William Stribling, 18, and Andre Yates, 18, all of Pittsburgh, were charged this week by California police with violating the borough’s disorderly house ordinance after police were called to their Vulcan Village apartment Oct. 13 for a report of a loud party.

CANONSBURG

Key stolen: An employee of D’s Locker Room, 26 N. Jefferson Ave., told Canonsburg police early Tuesday that the key to the business was stolen. A white man, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall with dark hair, mustache and beard and wearing blue jeans and a light-colored hooded shirt was seen stealing the key on surveillance video.

CECIL

Father arrested: Joseph Chirumbolo, 53, of 7 Ridge St., was arrested Tuesday night by Cecil police after he allegedly struck his 16-year-old son in the face during a confrontation at their home, giving the boy a bloody nose. He was arraigned before District Judge Larry Hopkins and released from Washington County Jail after posting $25,000 bond.

FALLOWFIELD

Trucker charged: Brian Carl Novich, 60, of Independence, Mo., is charged by state police with causing an accident involving damage to another vehicle, failure to stop and give information and render aid and failure to give immediate notice of an accident to a police department, court records show. Police accuse Novich of steering a tractor-trailer against a vehicle driven by Sean Michael Rich, forcing it into a concrete barrier along Interstate 70 in Fallowfield Township about 5:10 p.m. Tuesday. A trooper pulled over Novich’s truck further west in Washington County. Novich was placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

INDEPENDENCE

Woman charged: Jina Nicole Burns, 18, of 361 Bethel Ridge Road, Avella, was charged this week by McDonald police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and a traffic violation stemming from an Oct. 18 traffic stop on Sugar Run Road, Independence. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

MONESSEN

Woman charged: Kellie Marie Rush, 20, of 8 Huston St., Monessen, is charged by city police with trespassing at 1207 Park Manor about 2:15 p.m. Oct. 24, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charge by summons Tuesday.

Threat alleged: Duane Williams Jr., 27, of 4215 Bessemer St., Pittsburgh, is charged by city police with making terroristic threats, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal mischief, court records show. Police accuse Williams of having a sawed-off shotgun when officers were summoned to investigate a threat against a woman in the 100 block of Linden Avenue about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday. Williams was placed in Westmoreland County Jail on $25,000 bond set Wednesday by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

ROSCOE

Charged in fight: Carl N. Walden, 45, of 411 Underwood St., Roscoe, is charged by state police with strangulation, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse Walden of striking and choking Nathaniel Marshman outside Walden’s residence Monday. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges by summons Tuesday.

ROSTRAVER

Theft alleged: Sheila D. Johnston, 36, of 435 First St., Donora, is charged by township police with theft and retail theft over allegations she obtained a gift card from Walmart, 100 Sara Way, in the amount of $105 by returning merchandise she did not pay for about 4 p.m. July 30, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charges by summons Tuesday.

SOUTH STRABANE

One injured: Raravann L. Greene, 43, of Columbus, Ohio, was injured Monday when her vehicle and a vehicle driven by Katelyn M. Pisani, 16, of Wilson Street, Washington, collided at the intersection of East Beau Street and Clare Drive, South Strabane police said. Greene was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.

SOMERSET

Man jailed: James Richard Erdely, 51, of 407 Hazel St., Somerset Township, is charged by state police with making terroristic threats and harassment over allegations he threatened in a telephone call to shoot and kill his wife, Kelly Erdely, about 7 p.m. Tuesday, court records show. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

UNION

Assault alleged: Jillian Maloney Garrison, 24, of 44 McChain Road, Union Township, is charged by Monongahela police with strangulation, simple assault and resisting arrest over allegations she struck her husband, Robert, at least twice and choked him about 9 p.m. Tuesday in their residence, court records show. She is free on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

WASHINGTON

Window broken: Bruce McDowell told Washington police Tuesday that a rear window was broken on his building at 69 E. Pine St.

Backpack stolen: Tori Thomas of North Franklin Township told Washington police Tuesday that her backpack containing $22, a debit card and identification card was stolen from 75 E. Maiden St.

Business cited: The owner of Circle K Bar, 701 W. Chestnut St., Washington, was cited last week by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for failure to notify the board within 15 days of a change of manager on two occasions between May 2016 and January 2017 and from February through August.

Three charged: Carlos Vega Jr., 26, Chad Bell, 18, and Jennifer Griffith, 43, all were charged in connection with a disturbance Tuesday at their group home at 720 N. Main St. Vega and Bell are charged with harassment, while Griffith is charged with disorderly conduct.
