Theft charges: Cecil Hayman McGee, 40, of Morgantown, W.Va., and David Michael Renner, 37, of 627 Rudolph Run Road, Spraggs, were charged Tuesday with three felony counts of burglary and theft by unlawful taking, four felony counts of criminal trespassing and four misdemeanor counts of loitering and prowling at night. State police said the pair stole more than $10,000 worth of copper scrap from Safeco Environmental Inc. on Route 88 in Dunkard Township on four separate occasions between Sept. 19, 2016, and Nov. 12, 2016. The men were able to enter the building through a garage door and twice through an unlocked window, police said. Police said an employee caught Renner, McGee and an unidentified suspect on their fourth trip. Renner told state police they sold the stolen copper, according to the criminal complaint.
