CANONSBURG
Missing person: Authorities are trying to locate a teenage boy after his mother told police he ran away Tuesday. The parents of 16-year-old Steven Spence told police he refused to go to school that morning before he left his Murdock Street home. Spence was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and red and black tennis shoes. Police said he is white and has brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds.
DUNLEVY
Indecent assault alleged: Henry Baron Neil III, 40, of 17 Coal St., Dunlevy, is charged by state police with unlawful restraint, indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor, terroristic threats, endangering the welfare of children and corruption of a minor, court records show. Police accuse Neil of inappropriately touching a girl when she was 9 and 10 years old during the summer and winter of 2016 at his residence. Police also accused him of threatening the girl with a knife. Neil is free on $25,000 bond set Wednesday by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
MONESSEN
Man jailed: Tyler James Winstone, 24, of 702 Lookout Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Monessen police with escape over allegations he ran from the office of District Judge Joseph Dalfonso, 303 Riverview Drive, about 1 p.m. Monday, only to be quickly captured, court records show. Winstone also is charged with simple assault and harassment over accusations he struck Bartley Diggs in the head outside of 848 Donner Ave. about 1 p.m. Oct. 29. He is in Westmoreland County jail on $50,000 bond set by Dalfonso.
Man wanted: Shaka Lani Tansmore, 22, of 927 McMahon Ave., Monessen, is wanted by city police on charges of illegal possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of a firearm with an altered identification number and altering a mark of identification, court records show. Police accuse Tansmore of having several firearms, including an AR-15 and a stolen .380-caliber handgun, when officers went to his residence to serve an unrelated warrant about 7:30 a.m. Nov. 9. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso signed a warrant Wednesday for Tansmore’s arrest.
WASHINGTON
Harassment: A 22-year-old Washington woman reported to city police that just before noon Tuesday, a man kicked open the door to her Rosewood Avenue residence, dragged her by her hair and took her cellphone.
Theft: Osso’s Pizza, 90 Henderson Ave., Washington, reported to city police that about 7 p.m. Tuesday, a man made a purchase before taking money from a donation container and leaving, dropping some of the cash on his way out. Police said the restaurant has video surveillance footage of the theft.
