One dead, another injured in Maple Terrace shooting
WASHINGTON – A Washington man was killed in an overnight shooting in the Maple Terrace housing development.
Travis Larson, 25, was shot just before 3 a.m. Sunday and was taken to Washington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:52 a.m., a release from the Washington County Coroner’s Office stated.
Two people were shot around 2:56 a.m., a Washington County 911 supervisor confirmed.
A second victim was transported to UPMC-Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh. The name of the second victim has not been released, and it is unknown if law enforcement has anyone in custody in connection with this incident. Washington police are handling the investigation.
City police declined to release any further information Sunday night and added a release this morning would provide additional details.
