FRANKLIN

Firearm charge: Richard Anthony Golden, 26, of Philippi, West Virginia, was charged Monday with carrying a firearm without a license and two summary driving violations. Golden was pulled over by state police Sunday night on Route 79 after traveling at 87 mph. Golden had a pistol in the vehicle but did not have a gun permit.
