AMWELL
Receiving charge: Mark David Hatfield, 35, of 545 Pie Ridge Road, Prosperity, was charged Tuesday by state police with receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing a welder from his father’s Amwell Township home in June and then selling it. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.
BURGETTSTOWN
Assault arrest: Brooke Sierra Williams, 20, of 51 Center Ave., Burgettstown, was arrested on charges of simple assault, criminal mischief, loitering and prowling at night, harassment, underage drinking and public drunkenness stemming from a incident early Monday at her home. She is accused of putting out a cigarette in a man’s face and damaging a vehicle. Williams was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond.
CANTON
Money stolen: Timothy Wise Sr. of 1477 Davis Ave. told state police that $500 was taken from his wallet while he slept Thursday night. He discovered the theft Friday morning.
CARROLL
Man charged: Jacky Lynn Jacobs, 30, of Fairmont, W.Va., is charged by township police with unauthorized use of a car over allegations he drove a vehicle owned by Stanley Toland from an EQT well pad at 74 Shannon Road to Fairmont without Toland’s permission Nov. 4, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charge in a summons Tuesday.
EAST WASHINGTON
Trespass, prowling charges: Kyle Alexander MacKenzie, 23, of Pittsburgh, was charged last week by Washington & Jefferson College police with criminal trespass, loitering and prowling at night, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct stemming from an incident Nov. 19 at 315 E. Chestnut St. He was removed from the building only to return about 30 minutes later, police said. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
INDEPENDENCE
Charges filed: Charles W. McAfee, 40, of Georgetown, Beaver County, was charged Tuesday by state police with receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, fleeing or attempting to elude police, careless driving and reckless driving in connection with an Aug. 31 pursuit that started on Route 844, Independence, and ended in West Virginia. McAfee, who is in Washington County Jail on other charges, will be arraigned later before District Judge Ethan Ward.
MONONGAHELA
Assaults alleged: Leslie Anne Wilson, 34, of 1100 Chess St., Monongahela, and Jason Trevor Coulter, 48, of 508 Railroad St., Monongahela, are charged by Monongahela police with simple assault over allegations they struck each other in the head Sunday at Coulter’s residence, court records show. District Judge Curtis Thompson issued the charges by summons Tuesday.
NORTH STRABANE
Charged in stop: Joshua W. Auber, 37, of Triadelphia, W.Va., was charged last week by North Strabane police with having forged or altered plates and traffic violations in connection with a Nov. 19 traffic stop on Washington Road near Weavertown Road. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Hit-and-run crash: Daniel F. Canfield, 56, of 213 Fieldbrook Drive, Canonsburg, was charged last week by North Strabane police with leaving the scene of a crash and failure to render aid stemming from a hit-and-run crash Nov. 10 on Washington Road at McClelland Road. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Teen charged: Dakota N. Davidson, 19, of 127 Bridle Trail, Venetia, was charged earlier this month by North Strabane police with concealing evidence, misrepresentation of age to secure alcohol, underage drinking, carrying false identification and disorderly conduct stemming from an Oct. 21 incident at the Hyatt hotel on Racetrack Road. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
SOUTH STRABANE
DUI, speeding charges: James A. Hargrove, 19, of 42 Kennedy Ave., Washington, was charged last week by state police with driving under the influence of marijuana, speeding and failure to stay in his lane after he was stopped for allegedly going 90 mph in a 55 mph zone on Interstate 79 northbound near the Racetrack Road exit, North Strabane, on Oct.30. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
WASHINGTON
Daughter charged: Natalie Isbell, 33, of 75 Angle Ave., Washington, was charged Monday by Washington police with aggravated assault, strangulation, simple assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and harassment for allegedly grabbing her mother by the hair and punching her Nov. 21 during a confrontation at their home. She is also accused of putting her hands around her mother’s neck and choking her. The charges were filed at the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Decorations stolen: Shauna Schnore of Allison Avenue and William Chappo of Canton Avenue told Washington police Saturday that Star Shower Christmas decorations were stolen from outside their houses.
Tires damaged: Several residents of Henderson and Allison avenues told Washington police Saturday that tires were damaged on their vehicles.
Clothing stolen: Justin Sanders of Oakland, Md., told Washington police Saturday that a bag of clothing was stolen from his vehicle after it was towed to Lombardi’s Auto Body, 140 Highland Ave.
Wallet stolen: Jennifer Bruni of East Maiden Street told Washington police Saturday that her wallet and credit cards were stolen from her home.
Teen charged: A 15-year-old Washington boy was charged by Washington police with criminal trespass, harassment and disorderly conduct after he reportedly caused a disturbance Friday at CVS, West Beau Street.
DUI alleged in crash: Robert Bristor, 63, of 436 Trinity Drive, Washington, will be charged by Washington police with driving under the influence of alcohol after he allegedly crashed into two parked vehicles Saturday in the 10 block of West Maiden Street. His blood-alcohol content was more than twice the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed, police said.
