CECIL

Warrant arrest: Russell Connor, 50, of 1916 Fawn Valley Road, Canonsburg, was taken into custody Tuesday by Cecil police on a warrant obtained by police in North Huntingdon, Westmoreland County, charging him with simple assault and harassment. He is accused of punching his brother in the face during a Nov. 23 incident at a home in North Huntingdon. Connor was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on a $10,000 percentage bond. He was released to Westmoreland County authorities and arraigned again on the charges in that county.

CHARLEROI

Man charged: Nathaniel Soderholm, 35, of 15 Schoonmaker Ave., Monessen, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with two counts of harassment over allegations he posted two videos on YouTube of him having sex with a Charleroi woman without her permission, court records indicate. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges by summons Tuesday.

McDONALD

Suspect arraigned: Keyne J. Washington, 33, of McDonald, was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Traci McDonald on charges of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, simple assault, harassment and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia filed by McDonald police. He is accused of trying to shoot his brother Nov. 18 during a confrontation at their home, but the gun jammed, police said. He was released from Washington County jail after posting a $25,000 percentage bond.

WASHINGTON

Hit-and-run charges: City police Tuesday charged Alyssa Adkins, 27, whose last known address was on West Hallam Avenue, with accident involving damage to an attended vehicle. The charge stems from a Nov. 22 accident in which she allegedly drove off after hitting another vehicle at the intersection of Coremont and East Katherine avenues, according to court records. Charges were sent by summons from District Judge Robert Redlinger’s office.

Assault charge: A man described as homeless by city police has been charged with aggravated assault in an alleged incident at 60 W. Walnut St. July 9. Justice Lamar Walden, 22, is accused of attempting to stab his girlfriend and his 2-year-old nephew. Jaimie Walden, the suspect’s sister, told police Justice Walden had been fighting with his girlfriend and became angry when Jaimie told him to move out of her residence. She said he came downstairs with two knives and lunged at his girlfriend, identified only as Ashley, who was holding Jaimie’s young son. Jaimie said another brother, Devontye Walden, grabbed Justice and prevented him from injuring anyone. Police said the knives were recovered at the scene.

Burglary alleged: Marin Elizabeth Oreski, 36, of 43 N. Main St., Washington, faces burglary charges in an alleged incident on or about Sept. 22. She is accused of stealing beer and food from a refrigerator on the patio at 1170 Summerlea Ave. The resident, Holly Lynn Ashmore, told city police when she returned home around 4:30 p.m., she saw Oreski and approached the suspect, who tried to flee in her car, which was blocked in the driveway by Ashmore’s vehicle. Police said the missing items were on the passenger side floor of Oreski’s vehicle.

False 911 calls alleged: Oscar E. White, 39, of Jefferson Avenue was charged Tuesday with calling 911 for purposes other than an emergency. City police said in court papers Washington County 911 reported Nov. 9 it had received more than 1,000 calls from the same “911-only cell phone” since the beginning of this year, according to court papers. Police alleged White “admitted to making all calls and admitted they were for no legitimate purpose.” Charges were sent by summons from District Judge Robert Redlinger’s office.

Paraphernalia, DUI charges: Erin E. Gibbons, 25, of Vine Street, Canonsburg, was charged Monday by state police with use/possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, careless driving and driving without proper rear lighting. The charges stem from a traffic stop shortly before 1 a.m. Oct. 31. on Jefferson Avenue near the on-ramp to Interstate 70. Gibbons allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana that day and to owning a glass smoking device police found in the vehicle, according to court records. Her blood reportedly tested positive for marijuana and cocaine when troopers sent a sample to the crime lab in Greensburg. Charges were sent by summons from District Judge Robert Redlinger’s office.

Money stolen: Tom Baker told Washington police Tuesday a woman stole money from a cash box behind the counter at a business at 1060 Jefferson Ave. He told police he checked surveillance and saw she took the box into a restroom. He found the box, but the cash was gone. Charges are pending.

Road rage reported: A Washington woman reported to Washington police an incident of road rage that happened Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Jefferson and East Wylie avenues. She said a white man driving a purple car pulled alongside her vehicle and started yelling and threatening to shoot her and her son, who was a front-seat passenger. The car then got on Interstate 70 westbound, and she turned onto Allison Avenue. She was able to give police a license plate number. Police are continuing their investigation.

Assault reported: Washington police are investigating an assault reported Tuesday by Jeanne Garrison, 31, of Linn Avenue. She told police her husband put his hands around her neck and choked her. Police said she had marks on her neck. Charges are pending.

Projector stolen: Amy Doria of Donnan Avenue told Washington police Tuesday a Christmas light projector was stolen from outside her home.

Dog found: State police said a brindle-colored male pit bull wearing a red collar was found about 1 p.m. Tuesday in a parking lot in the 800 block of Jefferson Avenue, Washington. The dog was taken to Washington Area Humane Society, 1527 Route 136, North Strabane Township. Anyone with information on the owner can contact the humane society.
