South Strabane police charge several people with theft
South Strabane Township police filed charges this week against several people accused of stealing from businesses.
Gary Coleman Jr., 25, of 208 Ridge Ave., Washington, is charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing items valued at $197 from Walmart, Trinity Point, Oct. 25.
Nehemia Fisher-Egleston, 23, of 118 Murray Ave., Washington, is charged with false identification, false reports, retail theft and traffic violations for allegedly stealing 15 items from Walmart Sunday. He reportedly gave police a relative’s name when taken into custody.
Two are charged for allegedly stealing from Kohl’s, Strabane Square, earlier this month. Shayla Sidney Chandler, 20, of 52 Laurel Ave., Washington, is charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing clothing. Alyssa D. Kosek, 24, of 1230 Jefferson Ave., Washington, is charged with theft by deception for allegedly taking clothing from shelves and returning it at customer service for store credit.
The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
