Task force raids Washington home, seizes drugs
Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force and police from several agencies served a search warrant Friday at a home at 1165 Arch St. in Washington and seized crack and heroin.
The raid was the result of a several-months-long investigaton into drug trafficking in the area, Washington County District Attorney Gene Vittone said in a news release.
The warrant was served with the assistance of Washington Regional SWAT team, state police and its K-9 unit and Washington police. Detectives seized more than one ounce of crack, more than two bundles of heroin, a gun and various paraphernalia.
Charges are expected to be filed against those responsible for the drugs found in the residence.
