Medication stolen: Brandi Powell of 592 Galaxy Drive told Chartiers police Wednesday that her medication was stolen from her home.

NORTH STRABANE

Forgery, theft charges: Sky Desensi, 41, of 16 N. Buffalo Road, Washington, was charged this week by North Strabane police with forgery, theft and bad checks. He allegedly tried to cash a $6,895.74 check from Lincoln Manufacturing, 198 Meadowlands Boulevard, at a bank but was denied. He then allegedly cashed a $4,845.00 check that had been stolen from Cramer Landscape of McMurray. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

WASHINGTON

Woman, baby assaulted: Natalie McCloskey, 25, of 514 E. Maiden St., told Washington police that she and her 13-month-old son were struck at their home Wednesday. Charges are pending.
