Road closures planned for turnpike work
There will be a long-term closure at the intersection of Reissing and Laurel Hill Road in Cecil Township so crews can construct and relocate Laurel Hill as part of work on the Southern Beltway. The closure will begin Monday, weather permitting.
Reissing Road also will be closed between Profio Road and Sunset Drive, and Laurel Hill will be closed between Reissing and the residence at 36 Laurel Hill, all in Cecil.
Traffic on Laurel Hill must enter and exit on Noblestown Road or Cecil-Reissing Road, while traffic on Reissing must enter or exit from Route 980.
The restrictions are scheduled to be in place until Dec. 1.
