Walsh plans senior expo
Area senior citizens residing in the 58th Legislative District are invited to state Rep. Justin Walsh’s Senior Expo Oct. 19 at Turkeytown Volunteer Fire Department, 90 Supervisor Drive, West Newton.
The expo is free and will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. Seniors will have the opportunity to visit with more than 50 local, state and federal agencies and organizations offering information on programs and services available to seniors. Flu shots will be available, but an insurance card is required. Free blood pressure, oxygen and spine screenings also will be offered, along with balance assessments.
