Police Beat Oct. 18

Liquor law violation alleged: The operator of Big Fella’s Pizza and Wings, 45-47 E. Pike St., was cited Monday by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly furnishing alcohol to a 20-year-old Sept. 18.
Hurt in crash: State police said a 70-year-old West Finley woman was taken to Washington Hospital with suspected minor injuries after she apparently fell asleep at the wheel Monday afternoon and crashed on Enon Church Road. Police said Carol A. Furmanek was traveling south near the intersection with Valley Church Road about 2:41 p.m. when she fell asleep and struck an embankment.
Hit-and-run crash: Police responded Monday to Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, 1008 Trinity Circle, where a vehicle reportedly struck the back corner of the building and ripped off some siding. No surveillance footage or description of the vehicle was available.
Stolen car: A beige 2007 Nissan Versa was reported stolen between 9:30 p.m. Monday and 1:17 a.m. Tuesday from in front of a residence on Acheson Avenue. The victim told police he had a spare set of keys for that car inside another parked vehicle, which was unlocked. The keys were missing.
