Police Beat Oct. 21

Woman charged: Tammy Jean Bryan, 54, of 237 Valley Road, Chartiers Township, is charged by township police with five counts each of endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors, court records show. Police accuse Bryan of hosting a party where several juveniles drank alcohol, resulting in officers being summoned to her residence about 11:30 p.m. Oct. 14. A girl, 15, and boy, 14, required medical treatment at Canonsburg Hospital, police said. District Judge David Mark issued the charges by summons Thursday.
Road rage charges: Christopher James Gunter, 24, of 440 Jefferson Ave., Pittsburgh, is charged by township police with making terroristic threats over accusations he flashed a gun and said he was going to shoot another motorist, Robert Harris Jr., about 5 p.m. Sept. 24 on Route 51 north near Gallitin Road, court records show, Police said the two men became angry after Gunter reportedly pulled out from Gallitin Road in front of Harris, forcing Harris to apply the brakes and swerve into the berm. District Judge Charles Christner issued the charge by summons Thursday.
Assault alleged: Michelle Irene Brant, 47, of 2 Kings Way, Port Royal Village, Rostraver Township, is charged by township police with simple assault and harassment over allegations she struck James Zeitlman in the head and left hand at their residence about 8:40 p.m. Thursday, court records show. District Judge Charles Christner issued the charges by summons Friday.
Assault charges: William J. Moehring, 61, of 758 Route 519, Eighty Four, is charged by state police with strangulation, simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police accuse Moehring of grabbing Michelle Miller by the throat and choking her about 2:15 p.m. Oct. 4 at his residence. A trooper filed the charges Tuesday before District Judge Curtis Thompson.
