Liquor law violation alleged: The Hotel Jefferson at 1428 Jefferson Road was cited Oct. 20 by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for failure to have a manager complete the proper training within 180 days of board approval.
SPRINGHILL
ATV theft: State police are investigating an ATV theft on Pigeon Run Road after a 2002 Honda four-wheeler was removed from a shed at the Springhill Township property between Sunday and Tuesday.
WASHINGTON
Hurt in crash: A Clarksville man was taken to WHS-Greene hospital Thursday night after he drove off the road in Washington Township. State police said Rodney Earnest, 29, was driving on Lippincott Road at Washington Road about 11:30 p.m. when he drove through the intersection and struck a ditch.
FRANKLIN
Airport burglary: State police said someone entered an office in Hangar 15 at Greene County Airport in September and stole a briefcase from under a desk.
WAYNESBURG
Batteries stolen: Waynesburg police are investigating a rash of battery thefts from trucks and heavy equipment on the borough’s south side. Police said 12 batteries were stolen from trucks Tuesday night at JD Enterprises on First Street; on Wednesday night, three batteries were stolen from buses owned by Kings Transit near the Waynesburg University football field; and four batteries were stolen last week from a vehicle at Jacob’s Petroleum on First Street.
