CANONSBURG
Money stolen: The owner of Seven Hills convenience store, 368 Euclid Ave., told Canonsburg police Saturday that $500 was stolen from the office.
Vehicles entered: Canonsburg police said the owner of two vehicles parked Friday in the 500 block of Moore Avenue reported cash stolen from them.
Two charged: Erica L. Matten, 40, of 140 Elm St., Washington, and Shannon Nicole Bennett, 40, of 92 Murray Ave., Washington, were charged with simple assault and harassment stemming from an incident early Saturday in Canton Township for allegedly assaulting each other. Bennett is also charged with reckless endangerment for allegedly jerking the wheel of the vehicle being driven by Matten. Both were arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released on their own recognizance.
CHARLEROI
Burglary arrest: Derrick Michael Wilkins, 19, of 732 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, was arrested Saturday night by Charleroi Regional police on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, resisting arrest and criminal mischief after he allegedly kicked in the door of a neighbor’s home on Fallowfield. He is also accused of denting a fender on a vehicle.He also struggled with police as they took him into custody. Wilkins was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County Jail on $10,000 bond.
FALLOWFIELD
Three charged in assault: Jacob Daniel Cusic, 27, and Sara Michelle Young, 25, both of 52 Wheatley Road, Charleroi, were arrested early Saturday by state police for allegedly assaulting each other at their Fallowfield home. Marissa Marie Gillard, 25, of 144 Coal Bluff Road, Finleyville also was charged with simple assault and harassment for allegedly gouging Young’s eye during a confrontation at the home. They were arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller. Cusic and Young were each placed in Washington County Jail on $5,000 bond. Gillard was released on her own recognizance.
NORTH FRANKLIN
Restaurant cited: The owner of Forty Bar & Grille, 3390 W. Chestnut St., was cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly serving alcohol to a 19-year-old on April 18. The citation was issued Oct. 20.
NORTH STRABANE
Escapes injury: Sarah L. Becker, 18, of Thomas-Eighty Four Road, Eighty Four, escaped injury Saturday afternoon when her vehicle crashed off Galley Road. She told North Strabane police that her vehicle hydroplaned on the wet road. The vehicle went into a ditch before coming to rest against a tree.
Restaurant cited: The owner of Burgers, Bacon and Brew, 1000 Park Place, North Strabane, was cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly selling an alcoholic beverage to a 20-year-old on Sept. 18. The citation was issued Oct. 20.
ROBINSON
Warrant obtained: McDonald police obtained an arrest warrant Sunday for Melissa Lynn Fullum, 24, of Oakdale, on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault and harassment. She is accused of entering the home of her ex-boyfriend on Hilltop Drive, Robinson, that morning and assaulting him. District Judge Jay Weller issued the warrant.
