Bobtown man killed in crash

A Bobtown man was killed in a three-vehicle crash Thursday morning on Route 88 in Monongahela Township.
Frank E. Cettin, 57, was pronounced dead at the scene by Greene County Deputy Coroner Bill Lewis, state police said.
Police said Cettin was driving north about 8 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve on Route 88 just south of Second Street. His minivan crossed into the opposite lane and struck the side of a southbound car driven by Shawn M. Stiles, 43, of Carmichaels.
Cettin’s vehicle continued traveling north and struck the side of a southbound SUV driven by Joy L. Stouffer, 57, of Garards Fort.
Stiles and Stouffer were taken by ambulance to Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va., for treatment. Stouffer was listed in fair condition Friday afternoon, while Stiles was no longer listed as a patient, a hospital spokeswoman said. A four-year old girl, in a child seat in Stouffer’s vehicle, also suffered a minor injury, state police said.
Greensboro and Bobtown volunteer firefighters assisted.
