DRAVOSBURG (AP) — Authorities say a woman talking on a phone was killed when her vehicle collided with a bus near Pittsburgh.

Allegheny County police said the 41-year-old woman was heading south on Pittsburgh-McKeesport Boulevard in Dravosburg when her vehicle went out of control, struck a guardrail and hit a Port Authority bus shortly after 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police said she wasn’t wearing a seat belt and “was on the phone” with a co-worker at the time of the accident, which was captured on video on the bus.

The bus wasn’t in service at the time and had no passengers, but the bus driver was also taken to UPMC Mercy for treatment of injuries.

The woman, whose name wasn’t immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
