Spring House cream should be discarded
Consumers who purchased heavy cream from The Spring House on Route 136 in North Strabane Township should immediately discard it, Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has announced.
The cream was sold in plastic pints and plastic half gallons with the code 9-03. During routine sampling by the agriculture department, it was found the cream was not properly pasteurized.
No illnesses have been attributed to the cream, but the agriculture department recommends those who consumed the heavy cream should consult their physicians if they become ill.
