Police Beat Sept. 11
Burglary: State police are investigating a burglary that happened between 9:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Thursday at a Denny Street residence. Police said when a 66-year-old man left his residence that day, an unknown person took the pins out of the hinges on his back door, entered his house and stole a loaf of bread from the kitchen counter.
Theft: State police are investigating a stolen vehicle after a Happy Valley Road resident reported, between Aug. 26 and 27, his vehicle was stolen. Police said the vehicle was unlocked at the time with the keys inside.
Harassment: Tammy Lynn Arthur, 39, and Shawn Allen Arthur, of Waynesburg, were each charged by state police with harassment after they allegedly got into a physical altercation Aug. 30 at a residence on Calico Run Road in Wayne Township.
