Woman sues Ringgold over crash

A woman who said she was injured in a crash involving a Ringgold School District vehicle earlier this year has filed a civil suit against the district.
Attorney Marc Simon, who represents Rachael Wicks of Monongahela, wrote in court papers the driver of a district vehicle – whose type is unspecified – reversed into Wicks’ vehicle while it was parked in the lot outside Ringgold Elementary School in Union Township about 3:30 p.m. March 21, injuring her and damaging her vehicle.
Wicks’ lawsuit, filed Friday in Washington County Court, accuses the “unknown driver” of the district vehicle of causing the collision through negligence and seeks compensation for her injuries and damage to her vehicle.
