Wheelchair donors answer call for aid
Washington County Commissioner Harlan Shober, in seeking wheelchairs for veterans who will be touring Washington, D.C., monuments next month with the Honor Flight organization, reports he has received “an outpouring of support from people in Washington County and beyond who have agreed to donate wheelchairs.
“The need has been met.”
Shober, who made an appeal at the close of last week’s commissioners’ agenda-setting session, thanked generous donors for their willingness to help.
