Liberty Bridge, Tunnel restrictions
There will be an overnight closure of the inbound Liberty Tunnel in Pittsburgh from 8 p.m. today through 5 a.m. Saturday and a single-lane restriction on the Liberty Bridge from 8 p.m. today to noon Saturday.
The outbound bridge and tunnel will not be affected. McArdle Roadway will remain open in both directions. All inbound traffic will be detoured at the south portal of the Liberty Tunnel.
Crews will be conducting electrical conduit work and fire suppression pipe installation in the tunnel. They also will be placing a latex overlay on the ramp from the Liberty Bridge to Boulevard of the Allies.
